International Marconi Day 2009

Saturday 25th April

Venue will be the Perran Ar Worthal Church Hall this year due to changes at Pendennis. Oh well closer for many of us I guess, sorry Russell you will have to use the Golf this year, unless you like to take longer walks of course.

We are as ever looking to get as many members involved in operating the station so get in touch with Ken, Mike [NRF] or Me to let 8us know you are interested and when you can come along to operate.

Its always good fun and this year it will be easy to access the site with no chance of being nabbed and asked for payment.

Set up will take place on Friday 24th in the afternoon and any help would be gratefully received to put up the antennas necessary for the event. Take down will of course be on the Sunday if you fancy helping then too.

Operation will be from 0100 BST that’s 0000Z on Saturday to 0000 Sunday. Operators are needed too as it is difficult for a hand full to manage to operate for such a long time.

1st Wednesday in April is the Annual General MeetingGeneral Meeting/AGM

We look forward to having a well attended meeting and hope to see some new blood on the committee this year.
